15.06.2024 Vom Kraftwerk zu meinem Kraftort

Anfahrt: Calheta - Kraftwerk Calheta

Verlauf: Wir sind beim Kraftwerk auf der Levada Nova Ost gestartet. Ab dem Lombo da Atougaia bis zum Caminho de Cales e Cheda habe ich diesen Abschnitt der Levada Nova noch nicht begangen.
Eine entspannte Wanderung ohne spektakuläre Highlights, zuerst zum Lombo de Doutor, dann zum Lombo de Atougaia, dos Faias, das Florencas zur Kreuzung mit dem Caminho de Cales e Cheda, dann wie schon 2021, 2016 und 2022 unter dem Pico do Arco zur Passage der Ribeira da Madalena.
Hier haben wir meinen Kraftort besucht bei der östlichen Passage des Hauptastes der Ribeira da Madalena. Ein wunderschöner Ort, den wir ausgiebig genossen.
Danach auf dem gleichen Weg zurück, zum Schluss habe ich die Veränderungen am Kraftwerk angeschaut, die seit meinem letzten Besuch im Jahre 2022 vorgenommen wurden.

Distanz: 24.1 Km, 40 Hm Aufstieg, 40 Hm Abstieg

Start: 10.25 Kraftwerk Calheta III

Ende: 16.40 Kraftwerk Calheta III

Zustand: Für die ganze Wanderung sind Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit empfehlenswert (Levadamäuerchen).

Bemerkungen: Obwohl bereits zum 4. Mal, es ist immer wieder schön in dieser Gegend
