13.08.2021 Forumswanderung über die Boca das Torrinhas

Anfahrt: Canico - Ribeira Brava - Encumeada-Pass

Verlauf: Wir parkten ein erstes Auto am Encumeadapass. Weil ich wie immer zu früh war, bin ich Richtung Pedras bis zum ersten Tunnel gefahren, um dort einen Blick auf den Wolkenwasserfall zu werfen. Unglaublich schön aus dieser Perspektive.
Weiter mit dem zweiten Auto nach Lombo do Urzal, wo der Rest der Truppe bereits wartete.
Aufstieg auf dem PR2 über Carapita zur Boca das Torrinhas, hier kurze Verschnaufpause.
Der Aufstieg sowie der Teil des Gratweges von der Boca bis zum Ort, wo der Weg, der vom Pico Grande einmündet, war für mich Neuland, insofern habe ich diese Strecke sehr genossen.
Weiter auf dem PR1.3 bis zum Sattel zwischen dem Pico do Jorge und dem Pico Casado. Die Aussichten von hier sowie die Felsformationen unterwegs sind sehr beeindruckend!
Dann Abstieg entlang des Pico do Encumeada bis zum Encumeadapass, das letzte Stück sind wir dann im Nebel gegangen, es war aber nicht so schlimm wie befürchtet, es war immer noch sehr warm!
Am Encumeadapass dann die verdiente Rast in der Kneipe!


Distanz: 16.4 Km, 1350 Hm Aufstieg, 750 Hm Abstieg

Start: 09.45 Lombo do Urzal

Ende: 17.50 Encumeada-Pass


Zustand:

Der PR2 ist bis fast ganz oben gut aufgeräumt, solange man im Wald geht. Sobald man in offeneres Gelände kommt, wächst die Vegetation schnell nach. Aber der Weg ist ungefährlich!
Der PR1.3 ist in gutem Zustand und problemlos zu gehen!

Bemerkungen: Konditionell anspruchsvolle Strecke mit aussergewöhnlichen Aussichten, eindrucksvolle Wanderung in netter Gesellschaft
