12.05.2019 Nachmittagswanderung auf die Entrosa

Anfahrt: Lombo do Urzal - Sao Cristovao

Verlauf: Nach der Wanderung im hintersten Teil des Tales der Ribeira do Porco haben mich Issi und Piet noch auf die Entrosa begleitet. Dies war eines der gesetzten Ziele für mich in diesem Jahr. Da der Tunnel zwischen Faja do Penedo und Arco de Sao Jorge genau zu diesem Zeitpunkt gesperrt war, wurde es eine Wanderung hin und zurück, aber das spielt keine Rolle, eindrücklich ist sie in beiden Richtungen!
Vom Restaurant in Sao Cristovao über die alte Brücke und dann schön gleichmässig über die meist perfekt erhaltenen Stufen hoch bis zum Scheitelpunkt beim kleinen Schrein und wieder etwas talwärts zur Bar in Arco de Sao Jorge.
Nach einer kurzen Stärkung auf gleichem Weg zurück mit einem Abstecher zur Zuckerrohrabrik an der Ribeira do Porco. Von hier auf dem schmalen Weg entlang der Ribeira do Porco zur Brücke und zum Ausgangspunkt zurück.

Distanz: 4 Km, 320 Hm Aufstieg, 320 Hm Abstieg

Start: 16.00 Sao Cristovao

Ende: 17.50 Sao Cristovao

Zustand: Aufstieg auf gutem Weg, einige Geländer sind etwas wackelig oder Steinmauern zum Teil weggebrochen, aber der Weg ist durchgehend breit und ungefährlich

Bemerkungen: Schon der Blick von Sao Cristovao ist beeindruckend, die Begehung und die Aussicht genial. Für mich als 'rusty' waren natürlich die Relikte der Maschinen der alten Fabrik ein Leckerbissen
